Bless the Nations: Missions at Redeemer

God made amazing promises to Abraham. The Apostle Paul described those promises as an early announcement of the gospel: God blessed Abraham so that he and his descendants would be a blessing to all nations. Paul also said that Abraham's blessing comes to all those who live by faith in Abraham's God. All who believe in Christ Jesus receive the promised blessing. Jesus brings further clarity to a plan that has always existed in the heart of God. In the post resurrection world, God's plan to bless the nations will be fulfilled as heirs of the promise move out to make the promise of the gospel known among peoples who have yet to hear it. This work is empowered, and its success guaranteed by the authority and the continuing presence of the risen Christ.

Missions ministry is for every member of Redeemer Church; not a peripheral program for paid staff and people who want to live in other countries. Therefore every attender of Redeemer Church is encouraged to get involved beyond giving financially in support of missionaries through Redeemer's Missions Fund. Attached are some ways to do just that:

Lord, send us to bless the nations,

On our knees, through our gifts and by our serving,

Use us to bless others as you have blessed us.
