Going

Missions isn't reserved for spiritual "superstars." It doesn't only occur in the remote parts of the world. And it doesn't just mean preaching. God tells us to bring good news to those living in the darkness of life without Jesus. Using unique gifts and talents, we show others God's love both in word and deed. We can do that here - in workplaces, in neighborhoods, in the city - wherever God calls us. What can you do? In addition to being a missionary right where you are, short-term and long-term opportunities with local, regional, national and international ministries abound. These opportunities are limited only by lack of faith and imagination. Redeemer is committed to helping you find a place in God's plan to bring good news to the world. You might wonder who should consider going into cross-cultural work? What does a call to international missions look or feel like? What are the dangers in thinking through these things? Is the need in the U.S. really the same as the need elsewhere? What are the differences? What is the same?

We are currently reviewing 2011 opportunities during the months of September and October 2010. Contact a member of the Bless the Nations team for information about short & long term opportunities for the upcoming year.
