Worship & Music Ministry

We want to glorify God and enjoy His presence through invitational worship that expands the kingdom of God personally and communally; as more and more people are welcomed to Redeemer's weekly congregational worship gatherings.

How can I get involved?

All of us are commanded to sing & shout to the Lord, but there are many other worship ministry opportunities, both for the musically gifted and even the not-so-musically-inclined.

  • Worship Teams lead the congregation in worship on Sunday mornings.
  • Writers are welcome to create prayers, liturgies, responsive readings and confessions.
  • Drama Team meets regularly for those interested in writing, acting and directing.
  • Sound Crews serve in teams of two, rotating on a tri-monthly basis. The sound crew is responsible for the setup and takedown of sound equipment for all worship and music events as well as running the soundboard and lights.
  • Shiloh is an adult vocal/musical ensemble that requires audition. The mission of this group is to minister to Redeemer and others in the community, and proclaim the gospel to those who may not know it personally. The ensemble of 16 voices meets weekly.
  • Praise Kids for K-2nd Graders and Heavenbound for 3rd-5th Graders, rehearse weekly during the school year to glorify God in singing, as well as a teaching of foundational vocal and musical skills, and most of all having fun!
  • Youth Choir is a choir for 6-12th Graders, that emphasizes glorifying God in singing and the teaching of vocal and musical skills. The choir sings approximately eight times per year during worship services.
  • Special Music is for musically gifted individuals who offer special musical selections as acts of worship.
